Container seedlings potting and potting time, there are many precautions, the following is a collation of some, for reference only.
Time
Container seedling potting time is a strict requirement. Generally, seedlings need to be in a nutrient bowl or the plant has been growing in a container for a period of time before the container needs to be changed. The purpose of changing containers is so that the root system, which has already grown well in the old pot, can grow back better after the change of medium. With a well-grown root system, the soil-up portion of the container seedling will not be bad either. In some areas, container seedling replacement can be done in late autumn or early winter, while in others it can be done in early spring before the plants have sprouted. Specifically, the seedling grower needs to be fully aware of the habit of the seedlings he is growing to do this.

Containers
The potting container should be chosen according to the size of the seedling. Firstly, you can consider choosing a hard square pot of 10-12cm. If you are replacing a small container with a large one, the large container you choose should generally be two or more sizes larger than the original container, and if you are potting ground-planted seedlings, you need to choose a container based on the root system of the tree. For those larger in-ground seedlings consider choosing a more breathable and cost-effective planting bag.

Medium
The medium is the source of nutrients for containerised seedlings, so it should be chosen carefully. Generally, the commonly used medium for container seedlings after potting is 80% pine scale medium + 20% peat + 4kg/m3 long-lasting controlled-release fertiliser. When replacing the medium, you need to add fertiliser to it and mix it thoroughly with a medium mixer to ensure consistent growing conditions for the seedlings and to prevent unevenness in the future.

Changing pots
Changing pots need to pull the seedlings out of the original container, pulling seedlings can not be used with brute force, but need to hold the seedlings and the surface layer of the medium with one hand, the other hand gently knocked the container on the edge of the mouth, knocking loose the root system medium, is conducive to maintaining the integrity of the root system. Generally about 10cm square pots for large pots, if the root system is not a lot of entanglement, you can directly change pots. When replacing a 1-gallon pot with a larger one, it is usually necessary to consider root dispersal. That is to say, the original entanglement of the root system is fully patted apart, or use scissors to cut off part of the outer ring of the root system. By artificially breaking off the roots, the plant can be made to grow better in the new growing medium, where new root systems will reoccur.

Watering
Newly transplanted seedlings need to be watered promptly. The first time you water, make sure you water thoroughly. It is important to note that if the plant is being moved into a container with a ball of soil, it is important to observe that the ball of soil is well watered when watering.

Seedlings
Whether containers or other seedlings, transplanting needs to be slowed down for a period of time. During this period, the seedlings should be protected from sunlight, so they should be moved to a place with shade, and then moved to a sunny place after they have adapted to the new growing environment. If you are changing from a small container to a large one, it doesn't matter much if the seedlings are slowed down or not, unless you are changing pots in the summer.

Combination planting

If you have enough financial backing, you can rent land again and replant the planed seedlings and combine them to add value to the nursery product.
Different species of trees because of the nature of the growth of seedlings is different, in planting can be based on the species of seedlings to determine the distance of planting, such as tree species spacing due to wider than the planting distance of flowers and shrubs, the root system is developed than the root system of trees planting a wider gap than the species of trees with less root system, fast-growing species than the conventional species of trees planted in the distance is wider, and so on.
