On 14 April 2024, the "On-site Acceptance Meeting for Potato Quality and Yield Improvement Demonstration Trials", jointly organised by the International Potato Centre (CIP) Asia-Pacific (APC) and the China Green Industry Group (GIG), was held in Kaiyuan, Yunnan Province. Sun Xiaoping, former Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Yuan Huizhu, researcher of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tan Xiaofeng, researcher of the Guizhou Plant Protection and Plant Inspection Station, Liu Yunyin, deputy director of the Yunnan Plant Protection and Plant Inspection Station, Zhao Zhijian, researcher of the Economic and Crop Research Institute of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Li Folin, professor of the Yunnan Agricultural University, Liao Yuchun, deputy director of the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Wenshan Prefecture, Zhao Yunzhu, director of the Yanshan Plant Protection and Plant Inspection Station, Dr. Shan Youjiao, director of the Asia-Pacific Centre of ICPC and the China Green

Industry Group. Dr Shan Youjiao of the International Potato Centre Asia-Pacific Centre (CIP), Guan Shan, Vice President of China Green Industry Group, and more than 50 plant protection experts, retailer customers and farmer representatives from various cities and counties in Yunnan Province participated in the yield measurement and acceptance. This demonstration trial is to implement the policy guideline of "Ensuring national food security, placing the focus of increasing grain production on improving yields on a large scale, and implementing the grain yield improvement project" put forward in Document No. 1 of the Central Committee in 2024, to validate the application effect of the integrated technology of quality and yield improvement of Rutilharvest on potato, and to promote the development process of quality and yield improvement of the potato industry in the world. The demonstration trial plots were tested in two different ways.

Two different treatments were carried out in the demonstration trial field: three sprays of Brassicas and conventional management. Yuan Huizhu, researcher of Plant Protection Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CASA), announced the results: after sampling and yield measurement, the potato under conventional management yielded 2495.6kg per mu, and the potato sprayed with 3 times of Brunel harvest yielded 3292.7kg per mu, which was an increase of 797.1kg per mu in comparison with that of the other 3 times of Brunel harvest, and the yield increase rate was 31.9%. Participating experts signed to witness that several expert leaders involved in yield measurement were pleasantly surprised and heartily praised the effect of yield increase of Brassica juncea.

Yuan Huizhu, a researcher from the Institute of Plant Protection of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, fully affirmed the results of this yield measurement and acceptance activity, and placed high hopes on the role of Ruele Harvest in the future development of agriculture and the "new round of 100 billion jin of grain production capacity enhancement action". Guan Shan, Vice President of China Green Industry Group, said that as a pioneer and leader of agricultural quality and yield enhancement agents in China, Green Industry Group will continue to increase R&D investment and rooted promotion, deepen cooperation with International Potato Center Asia-Pacific and top research institutes in China, and make greater contribution to national food security and farmers' increased income through the integrated technology of quality and yield enhancement of RueLeHuay!
